HARVEST APPRECIATION: We wish to express our deepest appreciation to you our dear parishioners for your relentless support during the Harvest Theme Selection and the eventual Unveiling of the Harvest Theme. 1. SOARING ON THE WINGS OF GRACE

We wish to encourage us to continue to soar on the wings of Grace this 2022 by:

• Attending masses regularly.
• Reading the Word of God daily.
• Spending time in prayer and adoration daily.
• Join a society and get involved in the Church Activities.
• Get a Mass Journal and write something from the homily every Sunday.
• Grow in the knowledge of the Faith and Church Doctrines.

1. CHAPEL OF ADORATION: Parishioners are encouraged to spend some time with the Lord in silent adoration at the Chapel. It has also been observed that some of the Bibles placed at the Chapel for public use are not well taken care of. We are encouraged to handle them with care.

1. STEWARDSHIP: To encourage participation and commitment in the activities of the Parish, Stewardship Commitment forms were distributed at all the masses. Unfortunately, the turn-over of these forms were low. This is a special call to every parishioner to kindly return the filled forms indicating areas of fresh commitment to the affairs of the church. Submission can be done at the bulletin stand on Sundays and at the Parish Office on weekdays.

1. POWER CONSUMPTION: Due to the rising cost of diesel, we wish to inform our beloved parishioners that we may have to make some adjustments to our use of the generator in the Church. Kindly bear with us.

1. SECURITY ALERT: In the light of the security situation in our country, we wish to enjoin all parishioners to be more security conscious within and around the church premises. Extra measures will be put in place to help us to be more vigilant. Kindly cooperate with the security personnel(s) of the parish accordingly. May the Lord protect us from every evil. Amen.

1. ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Today is the Monthly General Meetings of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass), and Catholic Youth of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all ensure we attend our respective organizations as crucial matters are to be treated.

1. MCA: Missionary Childhood Association is calling on all children between the ages of 3 to 14 years to register and join them every Saturdays at the Lower (Okogie) Hall by 2pm. 

1. PARISH LAITY AGM: The Parish Laity wishes to inform parishioners of the Parish Laity Week and Annual General Meeting (AGM) coming up from 18^th through 24^th July 2022. Activities for the week will hold during the 6:30pm masses, while the AGM, will hold on Sunday, 24^th July 2022 after the 10am mass. Parishioners are hereby encouraged to book for advert placement(s) on the AGM Brochure. Advert Rates are as follows: Inside Front Cover (₦50,000), Inside Back Cover (₦50,000), Center Spread (₦100,000), Back Cover (₦100,000), Full Page (₦20,000), Half Page (₦10,000), Quarter Page (₦5,000). 1. PUBLIC HOLIDAY: Due to the public holiday on Monday, 11^th July 2022, masses shall be by 6:30am and 6:30pm only. Please note that the Parish Office will not be open.

1. SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY (SCC): SCC meetings will take place at the various community centers on Wednesday, 13^th July 2022 at 6pm. Scriptural reading: Luke 10:38-42. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time. Kindly check the Parish notice board for the various centers. There shall be mass this Wednesday at St. Peter SCC. Venue: 512 Road, F Close, House 11, Festac Town. All those living around should be in attendance.

1. REQUIEM MASS: There will be Requiem Mass for Late Mrs Munachim C. Nzeribe Anozia on Thursday, 14^th July 2022by 12:30pm (She was a member of Catholic Women Organization).

1. CHRISTIAN WAKE & FUNERAL MASS: There will be Christian Wake and Funeral Mass for Late Miss Catherine Ossai on Thursday, 14^th July 2022 (Venue: 3^rd Avenue, C Close, House 4, Festac by 6pm) and on Friday, 15^th July 2022by 8:00am.

1. REQUIEM MASS: There will be Requiem Mass for Late Master Daniel Onyeisi on Friday, 15^th July 2022by 10:00am (He was a member of Association of Altar Servers & Legion of Mary).

1. HOLY CHILD CHOIR: Are you a child between the ages of 7- 16 years and a lover of music? Do you want to develop the art of singing? Then join the Children Choir on Fridays (Omisesan Hall) – 5:30pm and Saturday (Upper Hall) – 12:00pm. Parents are also encouraged to support and permit their children/ward(s) to join the Holy Child Choir.

1. 2022 HOLIDAY LESSON: Our annual Parish holiday lesson is here again!! This year’s holiday lessons comes with great innovations ranging from Skill Acquisition, Talent Hunt/Music Training, Guidance & Counselling, Academic Work etc. Duration: 1^st August – 26^th August 2022 (4 Weeks). Lesson Fee: ₦3,000 (Primary) & ₦5,000 (Secondary). Register your child/ward for excellence in academic and professional skills. Forms can be obtained at the Parish Office or Laity Office for ₦500 only.

1. CYON TEEN CAMP 2022: Register your teenagers for the second edition of Camp Sinai holding from 24^th July to 30^th July at Saint Gregory’s College, Ikoyi, Lagos. The camp is for baptized teenagers and will include daily Masses, tech training, vocational activities, classes, Benediction & Holy Rosary, sports and games, etc. Teen coaches, experts, priests and religious shall monitor all activities throughout the camp. Registration is on-going at the parish office while the camp tuition fee is only ₦20,000. You can pay to First Bank account: Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria Holy Family – 3079617777. You can also sponsor teenagers to attend the camp. Discount of ₦10,000 exists for families and friends who register 3 participants together. That means you pay ₦50,000 instead of ₦60,000 for 3 people. This offer lasts till the end of May. Registration ends on Sunday, June 19^th 2022.

1. SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION: Registration for the Sacrament of Confirmation is ongoing and will end last Saturday of July. Please register at the Parish Catechist Resource Center (by the entrance gate) on Saturdays from 3:30pm.

1. SKILL EMPOWERMENT: Annual Skill Empowerment Program is here again!!!! This year, we will be having training(s) on: Hair making; Bead making; Catering; Make up & Digital marketing.
   
   We are also pleased to let you know we have added a few more social lucrative skills such as, Bag Making, Shoe Making and Photography. The program is slated to hold from the 25^th July 2022 to 31^st August 2022. We have scheduled morning and afternoon classes from 10am -1pm and 2pm to 5pm. We encourage you to be part of this life changing opportunity!! Forms can obtained at the parish office or library at just ₦5,000.

PARISH ID CARDS: This is to inform parishioners that the Parish ID cards of those who registered since last year and beyond are ready for collection at the Parish Office, kindly go to the Parish Office to check. Also, we encourage our new members to please register at the Parish Office and those whose card is expired can as well renew at the Parish Office.

1. HOLY CHILD CHOIR: The Chaplain (Rev. Fr. Mark Okojie) and the Parish Choir Council will be meeting with the parents of all the Holy Child Choristers next week Sunday, 10^th July 2022 after the 8am Children mass.
   Venue: Parish Event Center.

HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC PARISH LIBRARY: We are pleased to inform you that the Anthony Cardinal Okogie Reference (Parish) Library located beside the Anthony Cardinal Okojie Lower Hall is here to serve you better. At very affordable prices, we offer the following services: Photocopying, Lamination, Binding, Spiral Binding, Typing, Printing, Colored Photocopy etc. We also offer a vast range of books ranging from Literature to Accounting to Economics and a lot more. 1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing/reading with the Letter of St. James. Take up this challenge faithfully and be enriched spiritually.

1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
