SOCIETY ANNOUNCEMENT

1. INVITATION: The Confraternity of Christian Mothers will be having her nine days Assumption Novena from today 6^th August 2023 till 15^th August 2023.
   Time: 4pm.
   Venue: Courtyard. All parishioners are invited.

INTRODUCTION:
In today’s gospel, we hear how Peter’s faith and trust in Jesus becomes weak. Even though he had been with Jesus for a while and knows the many miracles Jesus had worked, yet in the face of trouble, he is afraid and his faith in Jesus is put to the test.

PRAYER:
Lord, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil because you Lord are with me, your rod and staff, they comfort me.

WHAT TO DO (ACTION):
Never be afraid. Trust in God always.

QUESTIONS:

1. Where were the apostles when they saw Jesus?
2. What did Jesus do that surprised them?
3. Why did Peter start to sink?
4. Have you ever been in a situation of fear? What happened?
5. Who calmed your fears?
