- PARISH REDEDICATION ANNIVERSARY: Next Sunday, 5th May, 2024 is the Grand Finale of the Parish Rededication First Anniversary Celebrations. Masses shall be at 7:00am and 10:00am ONLY after which there shall be a social celebration. Please note that there shall be a special publication in place of our weekly bulletin for the price of #500. Let us all come together in thanksgiving to God.
- REDEDICATION MUSICAL CONCERT: All parishioners are cordially invited to a special Musical Concert to mark our Church Rededication Anniversary and the 80th Birthday of our Archdiocesan Vicar General, Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. K. Aniagwu. Theme: “Elitespiration 3: The Resurrection Concert”. It will feature Elites Chorale & Orchestra. Date: Sunday, 5th May, 2024. Venue: Church Building. Time: 5:00pm. It promises to be exciting and entertaining.
- PUBLIC HOLIDAY: Due to the national public holiday on Wednesday, 1st May 2024, masses shall be by 6:30am and 6:30pm ONLY. Please note that the Parish Office will be closed. There shall be blessing of workers during the 6:30am mass.
- MAY DEVOTION: The 2024 May Devotion to Our Blessed Virgin Mary begins on Wednesday, 1st May 2024 with a Rosary Procession immediately after the 6:30am mass. There shall be brief Marian talks on various aspects of the Blessed Virgin Mary after Post-Communion Prayer from Mondays to Friday at 6:30pm Masses, Saturdays at 6:30am Mass and Sundays during Benediction. Let us all endeavour to attend and participate actively so as to have a fruitful devotion to our Mother Mary.
- FEAST DAY: Friday, 3rd May 2024 is the feast of SS Philip and James (Apostles). We are all encouraged to attend mass and observe the feast devoutly.
- BULLETIN: Dear parishioners we wish to inform you that due to the increased cost of publishing our weekly parish bulletin, the cost of purchase is now #200. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences.
- CHARITY/LOVE BOWL: We wish to remind our parishioners to return their Lenten Charity/ Love bowls to St Vincent de Paul Society. Let us endeavor to be committed. Remember; “whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto me”.
- FIRST FRIDAY COMMUNION TO THE SICK AND HOME-BOUND: The First Friday visit and communion to the sick and home-bound comes up this Friday, 3rd May, 2024.

- GROUP WEDDING: To celebrate the First Anniversary of our Church Rededication, the Parish will hold a Group Wedding on Saturday, 4th May, 2024. We are all cordially invited!!
- BROWN SCAPULAR: There will be preparation and lectures as organized by the World Apostolate of Fatima toward the investiture and consecration of interested Catholics with the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Sunday, 12th May and Monday, 13th May, 2024. - PENTECOST DAY: This is to inform you our dear parishioners that our Parish will be hosting the 2024 Regional Pentecost Confirmation on Sunday, 19th May, 2024 during the 10:00am mass. Please note that the 10:00am mass that day will be for only the candidates for confirmation and their catechists from the Badagry Region.
- HOLY CHILDHOOD DAY: Next Sunday, 5th May 2024, our Second Collection shall be a special Archdiocesan Collection for organizing activities aimed at ensuring the positive growth of our children. Let us all prepare to donate generously.
- THINK BEFORE TRASHING: As the saying goes, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. In the spirit of oneness and unity, we the youths of Holy Family Catholic Church, wish to urge and implore all the youths in the parish to come out en-masse for a cleaning exercise tagged: “Think before trashing”. This is a social responsibility of our church to the society. The cleaning will cover the entire 22road environment. This promises to be fun and sporty, come along with looking sporty. - NOVENA TO OUR LADY UNDOER OF KNOTS: Our Parish novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots comes up every month from the 1st to 9th of the month. Let us participate actively with the prayers on the various parish platforms.
- TITHE SUNDAY: Next Sunday is Tithe Sunday, those who wish to pay their tithes should pick up an envelope for use next week. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac.
- (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with the Acts of the Apostles. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.
