- CHRIST THE KING: Today, Sunday 24th November 2024 is the solemnity Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. We shall have our Eucharistic Procession after the 10:00am mass in an orderly and prayerful manner. Let us all prepare to adore Christ as King. Kindly follow the order of procession in the bulletin.
- SPECIAL BLESSING FOR THE MONTH: Today is the Last Sunday of the month. There shall be a special thanksgiving for those born in the month of November and those who had wedding anniversaries or any special celebrations during this month.
- ADVENT: Next Sunday, 1st December, 2024, is the First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of the New Liturgical Year and a season of preparation for the Birth of Christ. Let us prepare our hearts to fully participate in this season.
- TITHE SUNDAY: Next Sunday is Tithe Sunday, those who wish to pay their tithes should pick up an envelope for use next week. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac.
- SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: SCC meetings will take place at various community centers on Wednesday, 27th November 2024 at 6pm. Scriptural reading: Luke 21:25-28. 34-36. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time. There shall be mass this Wednesday at St. Dennis SCC. Venue: 207 Road, D Close, House 24, Festac Town. - FUNERAL MASS: There will be Funeral Mass for Late Mrs Valentina Omoyele Onagoruwa on Friday, 29th November, 2024 by 10am. She was a patron to the(10am choir). We are all encouraged to pray for the repose of his soul.

- PARISH FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS CAROLS AND LESSONS: The Holy Family Choir Council invites all parishioners and guests to the 2024 Service of Carols and Lessons with the theme “Born is the Light of the World… (Lk. 2:8-9; Jn.1:2-5)“. - BLESSSING OF WATER & SACRAMENTALS: There will be blessing of water and other sacramental every Tuesday during the evening mass. We are all encouraged to participate actively.
- OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP: Parishioners are encouraged to light candles for their various intentions at the statue of Our Lady of Perpetual Help beside the Sanctuary. Please note that ONLY CUP CANDLES are allowed.
- ALTAR WINE: Please be reminded that our altar wine is now sold for N6,500 (per bottle) and N78,000 (per carton). We apologize for any inconveniences.
- CATECHISM CLASSES: This is to inform parishioners that registration for Catechism Classes for sacrament of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation runs from 6th to 21st November 2024. Avail yourself of the opportunity while it lasts. Meanwhile, Parents and Guardians of the ongoing catechism children should kindly take note that catechism classes begin at 3:45pm and closes at 6:00pm. Kindly ensure that the children are picked up out of the compound by 6:15pm on Saturdays after the catechism classes.
- SECURITY ALERT: Dear beloved parishioners, beware of the fraudulent activities in our parish! Scammers are hacking into WhatsApp platforms, asking for money or codes. Never send money or personal information via email or message and verify requests by contacting the parish office or priests directly.
- PARISH ID CARDS: This is to inform parishioners that the Parish ID cards of those who registered since last year 2023 and beyond are ready for collection at the Parish Office, kindly go to the Parish Office to check. Also, we encourage our new members to please register at the Parish Office and those whose card is expired can as well renew at the Parish Office.
- CLEANING OF THE CHURCH: We kindly urge all parishioners to adopt a proper maintenance culture regarding the upkeep of our church properties and premises. This includes:
– Using the waste bins provided to dispose of trash, rather than littering the church grounds.
– Make use of the Toilet and Ensure it is left in a clean state after use.
– Returning and properly arranging chairs to their designated places after use (we appeal to all societies to take responsibility for this).
– Parents, please supervise your children and prevent them from damaging the flowers.

- (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be reading from the Book of Revelation. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

- RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments.
