ADVENT: Today Sunday, December 1st, 2019 is the first Sunday of Advent, the beginning of the liturgical year. Let us therefore prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord. Advent has a twofold character: as a season to prepare for Christmas, when Christ’s first coming to us is remembered, as a season when that remembrance directs the mind and heart to await Christ’s second coming at the end of time.
ANOINTING: Tomorrow is the first Monday of the month. There shall be special prayers and anointing at all masses. Let us ensure that we are there to storm heavens with our prayers.
PARISH CHRISTMAS CAROLS/SENDFORTH CEREMONY: Our Parish Christmas Carols tagged \”The Heritage Carols\” is slated for next Sunday, 8th December, 2019. It is going to be a blend of the Nigerian Traditional Christmas carols and songs, dances and drama that will be entertaining and exciting. It shall also serve as the Send Forth Celebration for Rev. Fr. Leon Houessou and Sr. Christiana Wilfred EHJ, our former Associate Priest and Pastoral Sister.
We shall also as a family welcome our New Associate Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Mark Okojie and Sr. Marie Assumpta Okeke, EHJ.

INDECENT DRESSING: We wish to remind all our parishioners of the importance of decent dressing to the Church. The church is not a fashion Parade or a place for indecent exposure. Let us kindly ensure that we and our children dress properly to the Home of God.
