THANKSGIVING MASS: The thanksgiving mass for the Final Profession of our Sister in charge of the Bookshop, Rev. Sr. Regina Maureen Ifeyinwa Okoli EHJ, holds today Sunday, 3^rd September 2023 at the 10:00am mass. We are all cordially invited.

TITHE SUNDAY: Today, the first Sunday of the month is Tithe Sunday, there shall be a special blessing before the Second Collection. You can also make your transfers to our Fidelity Bank 5080032193 in favour of Holy Family Catholic Church, Festac.

CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN FATHERS: The September Monthly meeting of the Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers of the Parish holds today immediately after the 10am mass. Venue: Pope John Paul II (Upper) Hall. Old and new members are cordially invited.

FIRST MONDAY ANOINTING: Tomorrow, 4^th September 2023, is the first Monday of the month. There shall be special blessing and anointing at all masses. Let us all endeavour to participate in this spiritual exercise.

BLESSING OF HOLY WATER AND SACRAMENTALS: Parishioners are encouraged to come with their Water, Salt, Olive Oil and other sacramentals for blessing every Tuesday for the Rite of Blessings during the evening mass.

MARY’S BIRTHDAY: The Legion of Mary and Marian Societies invites all parishioners to our annual Blessed Virgin Mary’s Birthday Celebration with the theme; “Mary Our Mother”. The novena in honour of Mary’s Nativity is currently ongoing. There shall be a mini Love Feast after the evening mass on Friday, 8^th September, 2023 being the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary while the Parish Celebration holds on Sunday, 10^th September, 2023. NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF KNOTS: Our Parish novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots runs from the 1^st to 9^th of every month. Let us participate actively in these efficacious prayers on the various parish platforms.

KNOW YOUR FAITH: This Saturday, 9^th September, 2023, we shall have our Parish Monthly Know Your Faith/ Doctrinal Class during the 6:30am Mass. All Parishioners are encouraged to be in attendance so as to grow in the faith.

ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Next week Sunday, 10^th September 2023, is the Monthly General Meetings of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all prepare to attend our respective organization meetings.

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE POOR: On Sunday, 17^th September 2023 shall be our monthly Special Collection for the Poor. Let us all prepare to donate generously. “Remember, whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me”

SOLOMON’S COURT TALENT HUNT: The CYON of Holy Family Catholic Church presents to you her 2^nd edition of the Solomon’s Court Talent Hunt. This season promises to be top notch as loads of amazing talents like Rappers, Singers, Dancers, Actors, Artists/Various Crafts and so much more would be displayed on stage. ALTAR SERVERS: There will be a compulsory meeting of the Chaplain and Parish Priest with the parents of the Altar Servers on Sunday, 24^th September 2023. Venue: Anthony Cardinal Okojie Hall. Time: 12 noon. Also, there is a call for new members into the Association. Male (10- 16 years) & Female (10- 12 years). We encourage all parents/guardians to permit children who are interested to join.

(1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be reading from the Letters of St. Paul to the Thessalonians & Timothy. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
