NCWR COLLECTION: Today, 4th February 2024 our Second Collection shall be an Archdiocesan Collection for the National Council of Women Religious (NCWR). We are all encouraged to donate generously.
FIRST MONDAY ANOINTING: Tomorrow, 5th February 2024, is the first Monday of the month. There shall be special blessing and anointing at all masses. Let us all endeavour to participate in this spiritual exercise.
SEMINARIAN: Our seminarian, Mr. Collins Ataagbe shall be leaving our parish this week having completed his 6 months pastoral work here at Holy Family. We wish him God’s blessings as he continues his journey to the priesthood.
NAZARETH PRIMARY SCHOOL: Next Sunday, 11th February 2024, we shall have the reception of the Sacrament of First Holy Communion for students of Nazareth Primary School at 10:00am Mass.
REQUIEM MASS: There will be Requiem Mass for Late Mr Augustine Iruoghene Imisi on Tuesday, 6th February 2024 by 12:30pm. He was a member of Association of Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary.
SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: SCC meetings have resumed and will take place at various community centers on Wednesday, 7th February, 2024 at 6pm. Scriptural reading: Mark 1:40-45. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time.There shall be mass this Wednesday at St. Mary SCC. Venue: 3rd Avenue, P Close, House 18, Festac Town. Please note that during the Season of Lent, SCC meetings will hold on Tuesdays at 6:00pm and as usual there shall be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time. Kindly refer to the bulletin for the various centers. All parishioners are encouraged to attend the SCC nearest to their homes.
CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN FATHERS: The monthly meeting of the Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers of the Parish holds today immediately after the 10:00am mass. Venue: Pope John Paul II (Upper) Hall. Old and new members are welcomed.
ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Next week Sunday, 11th February 2024, is the Monthly General Meetings of the Catholic Men Organization and Catholic Women Organization (after the 10.00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all prepare to attend our respective organization meetings.
SUBMISSION OF PALM FRONDS: Parishioners are hereby encouraged to return their blessed palm fronds from last year’s Palm Sunday to be used for Ashes, either at the Sacristy or the basket(s) at the entrance of the Church on or before Tuesday, 13th February 2024.
ASH WEDNESDAY: Wednesday, 14th February 2024 is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a period of forty days in preparation for the celebration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus. Let us all prepare prayerfully for this spiritual journey. Mass shall be at the usual times.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: During the Lenten Season, our Parish Stations of the Cross shall hold every Wednesday and Friday at 12noon and 5:30pm. We are all encouraged to journey with the Lord through His passion and death.
CALL FOR ACTORS: Do you have acting skills? Are between the ages of 15 and 45? More importantly, do you wish to evangelize the gospel through acting? Then be a part of something exciting as you sign up to be part of this unique project. Various roles exist in the 2024 Parish Passion Drama (Good Friday) organized by the Young Christian Workers, Holy Family Catholic Church, 22 Road Festac Town. GROUP WEDDING: To celebrate the First Anniversary of our Church Rededication, the Parish will hold a Group Wedding on Saturday, 4th May, 2024. All those who have not regularized their marriages are requested to register at the Parish Office or through their Societies. Registrations end on Sunday, 11th February 2024. Marriage Preparatory Course begins on Sunday, 4th February 2024. Do not miss this opportunity if you have not wedded in the Church.
ADULT CONFIRMATION: Registration into Confirmation Class for Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday is ongoing for baptized persons who are 40 years old and above or married and have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Classes hold on Sundays at 2:00pm and are mandatory. Register in person at the Parish Office or the Catechesis Resource Center.

CHAPEL OF ADORATION: Kindly observe the rules of the chapel of Adoration. Please do not throw money or petitions over the glass rather, put in the box provided for the purpose.
VOTIVE CANDLES: Parishioners are encouraged to light votive candles to pray for their intentions at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Stand. Please note that the candles are taken at a minimum of N200 per candle.
ALTAR WINE: We wish to inform all parishioners that due to the high cost in the importation of Altar Wine, a bottle of Altar Wine is now sold for N3,500 while a Carton is N42,000. We are sorry for the inconveniences this may cause.
THANKSGIVING ITEMS: Parishioners are encouraged to consider purchasing essential items needed for the Parish during their individual and family open thanksgiving. Kindly consult the priests or the Parish Office for the list of items.
ALTAR SERVERS: There is a call for new members into the Association. Male (from age of communicant to 16 years) & Female (from age of communicant to 12 years) previous servers from other Parish are also free to join. We encourage all parents/guardians to permit children who are interested to join.

NOVENA TO OUR LADY UNDOER OF KNOTS: Our Parish novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots comes up every month from the 1st to 9th of the month. Let us participate actively with the prayers on the various parish platforms.
(1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this period, we shall be continuing with the Book of Genesis. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.
