CHILDREN COLUMN
INTRODUCTION:
Today’s gospel reading calls us again to love and forgive one another. He tells us the story of a servant who was forgiven by the king, yet the servant refused to forgive his fellow servant. If Jesus can keep forgiving us everytime we wrong Him, He is calling us to do the same to our neighbours.
PRAYER:
God, of tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray. Keep me my Lord from stain of sin, just for today.
WHAT TO DO (ACTION):
Forgive always.
QUESTIONS:
- How do you think Peter felt when Jesus said forgive seventy-seven times?
- Why was the king angry with the servant who did not forgive his fellow servant?
- How do you think God feels when we keep malice with our friends and neighbours?
- What is today’s gospel teaching you?
