MOTHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION 2024: Today, 14^th April 2024 is our Parish Mother’s Day thanksgiving and celebration. It begins with the 10:00am mass. We are all encouraged to celebrate our mothers.

AUI COLLECTION: Today, 14^th April 2024, our Second Collection today shall be a special Archdiocesan Collection to support the growth of Augustine University. Let us all donate generously.

BULLETIN: Dear parishioners we wish to inform you that due to the increased cost of publishing our weekly parish bulletin, the cost of purchase is now #200. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences.

VOCATION SUNDAY: Next Sunday, 21^st April 2024 is Good Shepherd Sunday (Vocation Sunday). It is a day all faithful are encouraged to pray for an increase in vocations to the Priesthood and Religious life; that God will raise up many holy Priests, brothers and sisters who, in selfless and willing service, will lead the people to knowledge of Him. Please note that there will be a special collection (Seminary Collection) at all masses, let us all prepare to donate generously.

ORGANIZATIONS MEETING: Today, 14^th April 2024, is the Monthly General Meeting of the Catholic Men Organization (after the 10:00am Mass) and Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (after the 8:00am Mass). Let us all ensure we attend our respective organizations as crucial matters will be discussed.

CHARITY/LOVE BOWL: We wish to remind our parishioners to return their Lenten Charity/ Love bowls to St Vincent de Paul Society. Let us endeavor to be committed. Remember; “whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto me”.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: Small Christian Community meetings will take place at various community centers on Wednesday, 17^th April, 2024 at 6pm. Scriptural Reading: John 10:11-18. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time.There shall be mass this Wednesday at St. Joseph SCC. Venue: 321 Road, D Close, House 24, Festac Town.

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR: Our Parish Life in the Spirit is ongoing till Sunday, 2^nd June 2024. Time: 1:30pm- 4:00pm. We are all encouraged to register and participate actively so as to deepen our personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. Registrations can be done at the entrance of the main church.

PRE-MARRIAGE COURSE: This is to inform all parishioners that Pre- Marriage Class which holds every Sunday at 12:00pm resumes today Sunday, 14^th April, 2024.

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE POOR: Next Sunday, 21^st April 2024 shall be our monthly Special Collection for the Poor. This collection is to help support the activities of St. Vincent De Paul. Let us all prepare to donate generously. “Remember, whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me”

GROUP WEDDING: To celebrate the First Anniversary of our Church Rededication, the Parish will hold a Group Wedding on Saturday, 4^th May, 2024. We are all cordially invited!!

(1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with the Acts of the Apostles. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
