- PENTECOST SUNDAY: Today is Pentecost Sunday, the Descent of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Let us pray for a spiritual renewal for ourselves and our Church. As part of the Pentecost Celebration, we have made available paper representations of the fruits of the Holy Spirit to help us in modelling our lives. Please pick one at the exit doors of the church before leaving and do your best to nurture that fruit in your life. Be reminded that the 10:00am mass will be for only the candidates for confirmation and their catechists from the Badagry Region.

- WELCOME: We welcome our Archbishop, Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, Priests, Catechists and candidates for Confirmation from Badagry Region to our Parish as we hold our Regional Confirmation today. May the Holy Spirit continue to dwell in the Church and the rekindle the fire of God’s love in our hearts. Amen.
- SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY: Next week Sunday, 26th May 2024 is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the undivided unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Let us all prepare to celebrate this great mystery of the Church.
- SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE POOR: Today, 19th May 2024 shall be our monthly Special Collection for the Poor. This collection is to help support the activities of St. Vincent De Paul. Let us all prepare to donate generously. “Remember, whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me”
- ORDINARY TIME: From tomorrow, the Liturgical Period referred to as “Ordinary Time of the Year” resumes. The weeks of Ordinary Time celebrates no particular aspect of the mystery of Christ. The saying of “Angelus” is resumed. The Readings at Mass are taken from Week 7 of the year; Sunday readings are from Year B and Weekday readings are from Cycle II. The colour of the season is Green.
- MAY DEVOTION: The 2024 May Devotion to Our Blessed Virgin Mary is ongoing. There shall be brief Marian talks on various aspects of the Blessed Virgin Mary after Post-Communion Prayer from Mondays to Friday at 6:30pm Masses, Saturdays at 6:30am Mass and Sundays during Benediction. Let us all endeavour to attend and participate actively so as to have a fruitful devotion to our Mother Mary. We are all encouraged to pray our Rosary daily.
- FUNERAL MASS: There will be Funeral Mass for Late Mrs Elizabeth Iyangbe Smith on Friday, 24th May, 2024 by 10:00am. She was a member of Catholic Women Organization, St. Jude Society and Association of Sacred Heart. We are all encouraged to pray for the repose of her soul.
- KNOW YOUR FAITH: Saturday, 25th May 2024 is our Parish Know Your Faith/Doctrinal Class during the 6:30am mass. We are all encouraged to be in attendance so as to grow in the faith.
- CHILDREN’S DAY: Our Parish Children’s Day Celebration comes up on Monday, 27th May, 2024 beginning with the 12:30pm mass and social celebrations after, in front of the church. There shall be a talk on Saturday, 25th May, 2024 at 4:00pm for all children in the Parish. Parents are to encourage their children to participate actively.
- SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: Small Christian Community meetings will take place at various community centers on Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024 at 6pm. Scriptural Reading: Matthew 28:16-20. Please note that there will be no evening Mass or Society meetings during the SCC time.There shall be mass this Wednesday at St. Albert the Great SCC. Venue: 5th Avenue, M Close, House 18, Festac Town. We are all encouraged to attend the SCC closest to us.
- ALTAR BREAD: We wish to inform all parishioners that a pack of Altar Bread is now sold for N2,500. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with the Gospel of St. John. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

- RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
- SECURITY: We will like to draw our parishioners’ attention to be more security conscious and hold on to our valuables especially in the church during mass. This is to prevent cases of theft in the church.
