  1. CHURCH RE-DEDICATION: With joy in our hearts, we are delighted to invite us all our dear parishioners to our Parish Church Building Solemn Re-dedication which comes up this Saturday, April 29th 2023. As we pray for a successful and joyful ceremony, we appeal that we should be accommodating to all our guests and visitors. May God continue to bless us abundantly. Amen.

    8:00am– Veneration of the Relics begins
                                            9:00am– Welcome for Archbishop                                             10:00am– Rededication Mass begins
    Sun., 30th Apr. 2023:    7:00am & 10:00am mass ONLY
    (Thanksgiving at both masses)
  1. FEAST DAY: Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 is the Feast of St. Mark (Evangelist). We are all encouraged to attend mass and observe the feast devoutly.
  1. CHARITY/LOVE BOWL: We wish to remind our parishioners to return their Lenten Charity/ Love bowls to St Vincent de Paul Society. Let us endeavor to be committed. Remember; “whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto me”.
  1. REQUIEM MASS: There will be Requiem Mass for Late Dr. Kester Ifeanyichukwu Nwadiani on Wednesday, 26th April 2023 by 10:00am. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary Association.
  1. PUBLIC HOLIDAY: Due to the national public holiday on Monday, 24th April 2023, masses shall be by 6:30am and 6:30pm ONLY. Please note that the Parish Office will be closed.
  1. LAITY COLLECTION: Next week Sunday is the 5th Sunday of the month, and so, our Second Collection will be for the support of the Laity Council at all levels. Please let us prepare to donate generously. One Church! One Laity!
  1. CHILDREN MASS: Parents and Guardians are encouraged to take their children to attend the 8am Children Mass at the Upper Hall. Church wardens are to direct them accordingly.
  1. 2022 HARVEST: The Harvest Committee for last year’s Harvest of Divine Peace is winding down their accounts. All those who made pledges should kindly redeem them by cash, cheque or POS at the Harvest Stand (on Sundays) and Parish Office (during the week).   1. CHURCH KNEELERS: We wish to humbly appeal to you our dear parishioners to please kindly avoid stepping on the kneelers in the church and to gently lower them when during usage.
  1. HOLY CHILD CHOIR: The Holy Child Choir invites all parishioners within the ages of 9 and 19 who can play any musical instrument to come use their talents and skills to serve the Lord in the choir. The choir meets on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6pm in the upper hall of the parish center. Registration is free.  Sing praises… unto the Lord!

HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC PARISH LIBRARY: We are pleased to inform you that the Anthony Cardinal Okogie Reference (Parish) Library located beside the Anthony Cardinal Okojie Lower Hall is here to serve you better. At very affordable prices, we offer the following services: Photocopying, Lamination, Binding, Spiral Binding, Typing, Printing, Colored Photocopy etc. We also offer a vast range of books ranging from Literature to Accounting to Economics and a lot more. Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays. Time: 9am- 4pm. God bless you as you patronize us.   1. (1%) ONE PERCENT BIBLE CHALLENGE: We wish to encourage all Parishioners to read and study the word of God for at least 15minutes every day; which is about 1% of 24 hours. For this week, we shall be continuing with the Gospels of Luke & John, then Acts of the Apostles. Take up this challenge faithfully as stated below and be enriched spiritually.

  1. RETURN TO THE SACRAMENTS: We wish to encourage those who have been estranged from the sacraments for one reason or the other especially the Holy Eucharist, to return to the Sacraments. Kindly meet any of the Priests if you are having any difficulty in this regard. May Christ grant us life through His Body and Blood. Amen.
